The match will be at 18:00, if there are no delays due to possible rain in Vitoria.
After winning the Junior Wimbledon title, making history and becoming the only Spanish tennis player to do so, Ane Mintegi is now concentrating on the courts of the Peña Vitoriana Tenis Club where, since last Sunday, the II edition of the Araba World Tennis Tour, a $60,000 ITF tournament, the most important in Euskadi and one of the three currently held in Spain, has been taking place.
Mintegi made her debut this Tuesday in the doubles category, pairing up with Victoria Jiménez, with a 6-4, 1-6 and 10-5 victory in the super tie break against the pairing of Czech Laetitia Pulchartova and Russian Anastasia Zakharova.
This Wednesday, the player from Guipuzcoa will make her debut in the singles round of 16 at 18:00, rain permitting, against the Turkish Pemra Ozgen. Afterwards, at the end of the match, La Peña Vitoriana Tenis Club will pay tribute to her. Access to the facility will be free, until full capacity is reached.
