The Primafrio Foundation, an entity created under the auspices of the Primafrio Group, and the Peña Vitoriana Tennis Club (organizer of the tournament) have signed today the renewal of the agreement through which the non-profit organization will collaborate for the second consecutive year in the III World Tennis Tour Open Grupo Amutio, which will take place between the 18th and 24th of July at the facilities of the Peña Vitoriana in Vitoria-Gasteiz.
The agreement signed between both entities contemplates the implementation of the Volea Program, an initiative that seeks to fight for equal opportunities in sports, promote the practice of sports, give visibility to the current situation of women’s sports and promote the values of sports practice.
It is a program born from tennis and for tennis, in which different training activities will be carried out in schools, recreational activities in the city, conferences on sport as an engine of change, charity activities with NGOs and the celebration of the International Women’s Tennis Tournament in July.
The signing of the agreement also establishes the Primafrio Foundation’s collaboration with the Isa del Campo Tournament, the prelude to the III World Tennis Tour, which will take place from July 9 to 16. The winner of the Isa del Campo Tournament will directly win a place in the main tournament, which has already become an unmissable event in the Basque sporting panorama.
With this collaboration, the Primafrio Foundation maintains its link with women’s sports and contributes to promoting this important tournament in its most sustainable aspect, while at the same time promoting the values of sports.
